We live in a disposable economy.

Our society is engulfed in a single-use plastic.

We believe that it is businesses' role to address this issue by finding ways to offer people products that are both healthy and environmentally friendly.

Recycling is not humanity's solution to waste. First of all, many cosmetic containers can't be recycled because they end up dirty. Find out how to know if you are being greenwashed. Secondly, many things that end up in the recycling facility aren't even recycled — of the 8300 million metric tons (Mt) of virgin plastic ever created, only 9% has ever been recycled. The rest ends up in landfills, in the environment or is burnt*. Finally, when stuff does get recycled, recycling takes a lot of energy and plastic is not indefinitely recyclable (unlike glass and metal).

And, think about all the towns around the world that don't even have recycling facilities!

We believe it is our responsibility to abide by the following rules: REFUSE, REDUCE, REUSE, ROT and RECYCLE. (Rot stands for compost!)

As such, our products' packaging is either:

Bare — our soaps

Reusable — the aluminium and glass containers that are products come in can be re-used. Aluminium and glass is also widely recyclable in the event the containers are not re-used. To eliminate plastic waste, we offer, for the products that come with a plastic dropper cap, a refill version with a metal cap at a discounted price so that you can re-use your dropper & save money.

Compostable — the cardboard tubes, brown paper sachets, and glassine envelopes can be placed right in a backyard compost bin.
