    COMPANY CULTURE
We believe that company culture is the most important aspect of our company. We seek out individuals that are overjoyed by the outdoors and share a passion for something that is beyond themselves—  whether it be gardening, sailing, community activism or simply reverence to mother nature. The community experience makes ANATO a unique place to work. ANATO believes in company transparency and team-member empowerment. We work diligently to make the company a great place to work, where employees and interns are team members, feel respected and valued, accountable to co-workers and customers, and where communication between co-workers reflects a personal and caring approach.
This is one of the reasons why we are Head Quartered in Santa Cruz, CA — where our team can easily reach the wilderness, dive in Monterey Bay or take a workshop on agroecological gardening at UCSC. Yet, we are close to the buzz of Silicon Valley, where team members are encouraged to join inspirational conferences, speeches and meet-ups with some of the World's brightest minds at the epicenter of tech innovation.
ANATO mimics nature with our systems-thinking approach to business — producing no waste and regenerating the resources we use: tree. We value hands-on learning and make the best-quality body care products by hand. This is our area of expertise. Juxtaposed to this, we are also keen to put in place the latest tech innovations and automations so as to systematize our business and leverage the power of technology to be as efficient as possible in our marketing and communications efforts. This is where ancient indigenous wisdom of trees meets cutting-edge tech — where team members can work together to bring forward solutions some of our planet's biggest epidemics: climate change and plastic pollution.
If you share these values, you'll fit right in.

We treat our remote team with just as much respect— offering flexible work hours and making sure they embrace the lifestyle we live by — like mindfulness, good nutrition, and movement — all key components to the ANATO lifestyle.

Friday mornings at our HQ start with a 'board meeting' in the ocean as interns and in-person employees get out for a surf or beach walk.

ANATO's mission is to educate about solutions to plastic pollution and sustainable agriculture through consumer products. We look forward to hearing from individuals that are eager to grow with us & committed to our mission. We are comprised of individuals that are hardworking, honest, smart and hungry for change.
